I pre-ordered you book after reading about it on Laura Rowley's Yahoo blog. It has not disappointed. It has opened new ways of looking at my career (and life) and offers opportunities to see personal growth in a different light.
well-I grabbed life by the throat for 25 years! I accomplished all that I wanted -The Marine Corps- University degree-M.Ed. J.D. taught school(HS)-coached football- coached wrestling-practiced law- held elective office-won a lot - lost a lot- still here trying-now what?? heck- I want to feel better about my life even though I have all that any man could ask for-a family- enuf money-two houses(ARKANSAS AND MASSACCHUSETTS)-a wife of 37 years-two kids we are close -horses-dogs and cats-LOL-my health is good( need 2 new hips)sic-LOL again- I am 64- I want to run again- I want to get another degree-why?heck- sometimes I feel aimless-lost-My hobbies are wood and rock collections=learning masonry to build a small castle for the cats and animals-my wife is a retired teacher-we now have a small horse farm in Arkansas- travel back and forth-I will be in mass most of winter- wife in Arkansas til spring -my mother is 95 and needs me even thou she lives alone and independently - she just gave up the car- why am I so aimless?? help--thanks alot for listening
I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to participate in this study and am anxious to read The Search for Fulfillment when it is published.
I also plan to give the book to my college-age daughter, who has started on her own search for fulfillment.
