After taking the online Pathways Questionnaire, you should have a good sense of what pathway you are on. The questionnaire provides scores for each pathway, but one pathway should stand out from the others. Now it's time to move on to the next step-- evaluating your Action Plan for change.
The book contains detailed Action Plans for each pathway. It also shows you how I arrived at the Action Plans and gave examples of people who chose various Action Plans in my study.
For example, the Action Plan called "Turning a Downward Slope into an Upward Slope" on p. 120 consists of steps that will enable people on the Downward slope to start to make changes that will turn their life's trajectory around so they can move in a positive direction. The first step in this process is to believe that it is okay to succeed. Many people who are on the Downward Slope have fallen into the trap of believing that their own success will cause other people in their lives to feel that they are failures. It's also possible that people on the Downward Slope have made bad decisions because they have sold out on their dreams of youth. The Action Plan to get off the Downward Slope provides steps that each person can adapt to his or her own life.
By taking the Action Plan test specific to your pathway, you can gain insights into what steps you need to take to get on a pathway that will lead you to the most fulfillment possible. Assess yourself with these simple quizzes and you can then identify where you need to target your own Action Plan for change.
If you have arrived at this page without taking the Pathways Questionnaire, I encourage you to do so first. But if you would like to skip that step and go straight to the Action Plans, they are listed below. Just click on the link and you will be directed to the Action Plan quiz specific to your pathway.
If you're happy with your pathway, you can still benefit from taking the Action Plan test because it will give you guidance on how to remain on that pathway.
